Silverstone June 2003, race day

Collard out of round 7, but claims 9th in round 8.

The team were disappointed when the mis-fire appeared again within the first few laps of the first race. The car was repaired, but being 3 laps down made the race a test session for CollardRacing. Afterwards it was touch and go as to whether or not the car would make it to the second race. The team investigated the fault, the car was getting too much petrol, but no-one knew why for a while. One the solution was found the car was sent out and Rob made it from 14th on the grid to finish 9th overall, with a 2nd place finish in the Independants cup to add to his points total.
