Thruxton Test

The CollardRacing Vauxhall Astra hit the race circuit for the first time this year at Thruxton on Wednesday the 26th of February.

Rob had his first chance to get out on the track with the car since its purchase 2 weeks ago. There was a lot to learn about the cars set up and handling and it proved hard to get a clear lap with heavy traffic on the circuit, but he left feeling very positive about the day.

Rob is hoping to clock another 3-400 laps in the car before the first race in April, but his initial feelings for the forthcoming season are high as he is already driving the car at competitive Touring Class speeds.
