BTCC 2008 with Motorbase Performance

In 2008, Rob is driving a BMW 320si for Motorbase Performance in the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The season launched to the media at Rockingham in Northamptonshire on March 12th, with Rob on hand to give interviews and take part in the afternoon test session.

Ahead of the new season, Rob commented: "I'm looking forward to getting out there and racing again. I think it's going to be a tough season because there are some very strong cars and drivers out there. Motorbase is a great team and I'm looking forward to working with them this year."

David Bartrum, boss of Motorbase Performance, said: "We've worked hard over the winter to get the cars up and running in time for the new season and now we're looking forward to getting going. The BMW is a great car and I think we should be able to make a good step forward from last year."

The season starts at Brands Hatch at the end of March, taking in ten events, and finishing back at Brands in September.
