Welcome to Collard Racing

Collard Motorsport is a combination of three generations of racing heritage.

The team is founded by British driver Rob Collard a regular competitor and race-winner in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. The 45-year-old has made quite an impact on touring car racing in the last few years. He has broadened his experience by successfully racing a BMW, Porsche 911, SEAT Leon, MG ZS, SEAT Toledo Cupra, Vauxhall Astra, Nissan Primera and a Renault Clio RS. Rob combines his role as Managing Director of R Collard Ltd; the family haulage operation based in Hampshire alongside his successful racing career.

Fast forward to 2014 and speed is very much part of the Collard family. Sons Ricky and Jordan have shown that they are a force to be reckoned with and are busy carving out a career for themselves. 17 year old Ricky will contest his maiden season in Formula Ford with Falcon Motorsport, whilst 13 year old Jordan will race in the Mini Max Series Super One British Championship with the Adrian Coles Race Team.

Rob’s father Mick “Duffy” Collard was the inspiration behind it all. He was a professional racer and raced against people like Derek Warwick and Martin Brundle. He was the British Hot Rod Champion in 1979 and the following year in 1980, he secured the Hot Rod World Championship.
